[DeTomaso] Fw: Death of Wayne Stevens

I only got to be with Wayne, and Cheryl, on two occasions.  They were at the
first two POCA Fun Rallies that I attended in Vegas. They were always kind
and offered a great opportunity to converse about Panteras.  Cheryl and
Wayne even offered to let me ride with them in the non-Pantera rental
vehicle as they made the Valley of Fire tour on my first POCA Rally.

They were and are great folks.  My sympathies and best wishes go out to
Cheryl.  We'll miss you, Wayne.

Wayne was really nice guy. About 18 months ago. He came to Savannah and I
took him for a ride in 1660. He was like a little kid. Our cars are very
different.  The next day he and his family and friends came to a local
cruise in to see me again. Always supportive and always offered kind words
over my posts.  Many of you do not. Realize how this forum connects people
and becomes an important thing in our lives. By definition we are a
collection of rebels.   Here's a toast to Wayne. Proud to have called you a

I did not know him personally, but really enjoyed and appreciated Wayne on
the forum.  He was always a class act.
