Mike Dailey has added an article describing an easily fabricated  tool for 
removing Pantera front ball joints at _http://www.panteraplace.com/Page9.htm_

Mike has also added two articles on removing and installing Pantera  front 
a-arm bushings. One article describes a method using a bench vise and some  
simple pressing fixtures. The second article describes using a portable press  
which employs and inexpensive bottle jack and some simple pressing  fixtures.

For anyone who is interested in using either of these methods, I  have the 
required adapters, saws/pilots, and press fixture to lend for the  cost of 
shipping. The portable fixture is shipped without a bottle jack. The  portable 
fixture uses a 4 ton bottle jack (_http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayite
m.taf?Itemnumber=66450_ 
(http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=66450)  about  $14) from Harbor Freight. It is cheaper for the 
user to buy and ship a  bottle jack one way from Harbor Freight than to ship a 
loaner jack two  ways.
 
These tools will allow you separate Pantera front ball joints and  remove or 
install front suspension bushings like a gentleman. None of these tools or 
methods require the use of a  hammer.
