[DeTomaso] Radiator fan-help!!

Sorry to keep this thread alive, but...

I can attest to the efficiency of "some" blades.  My Spal fans have curved
blades.  They were originally mounted as pushers and wired backward.  They
hardly pushed any air at all.  I remounted them as suckers and wired them
correctly.  BIG difference.

The point Thomas is trying to make is that regardless of the shape of the 
blade, turning the blade around doesn't change the direction of the
airflow--it 
just impacts the efficiency of the fan.   For a given fan blade, regardless
of 
orientation, the only way to change the *direction* of the flow is to
reverse 
the wires and thus reverse the direction that the blade spins.

That's 'all' fans BTW...:>)
