[DeTomaso] Big Bend Open Road Race update

 Big Bend happens on Saturday April 25th.  All the activities begin on Wednesday April 22nd.  Look at www.bborr.com

 

  The BBORR has a limit of 160 cars and it is within a handful of cars from being full.  With that many people signed

up there will always be a few cancellation, so if you want to run get your registration in NOW!  I thinnk we may need 

one more car to make a team.  They hold the Panteras to tighter restrictions as to what can be on the team than they

do the other groups.  I may officially change the title to Gruppo Rompiculi Corsa and let them figure that one out.

   I made a run to the area not long ago and the course is very nice, very smooth.  Most of you know about this run,

but if you don't...it's a 188 miles long run in 2 59 mile legs.  It is not a long straight route over the horizon.  There are

59 turns in 50 miles on the southern end.  The northern end has fairly long straights with long sweepers.  That allows 

you to run hard at first to get to your average speed up quick, and it make it a little easier to adjust your average

speed on the last leg.  You'll still be very busy though.  Great people. Great scenery.  Great time for all.

   I'll run as fast as my 125 hp will take me.  Brakes good, tires fair, paint awesome.  Be there.  Bring your guns.
