[DeTomaso] How they made a Boss 302 fit in a Goose!

I had always wondered....as well as recently wondered why a stock intake, spacer, carb, and air cleaner would NOT fit in my car......thought I was going crazy...

Check out the seams in these frame mounts....

Now I know.....  My engine sits 1 9/16" higher because of it.....

Where is my hacksaw....?

Engine and tranny come out this week.....time permitting.  All unbolted or loose and just waiting for a lift...
