[DeTomaso] Dog Bone (B & M) air cleaner

I don't see how it possibly could.   Mine probably has at least a 2-3 inch drop beyond the area flush with the dog bone center section where the carb extends into it

All though not a big fan of the dog bone ( B & M ) air cleaner I was wondering if they fit under the stock engine screen with a Performer or Weiand-X. I am running into some fitment problems with the detomaso scribed air cleaner I currently have.
