[DeTomaso] ZF

Dear Jack,

It certainly seems plausible that in that great Italian tradition of agriculturally based drivetrain parts, the ZF may well have--started--on--the--farm! I do hope that Roland Jaekel can elaborate even further. Very, very interesting.

"......OK. Start braking at the asparagus and use the second corn row as the apex then accelerate on out to the hay bales........"

                        Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

Is that true?? I had heard an allegation that the ZF was originally designed for a road-grading machine.....

Apparently true. If you Google 'FENDT ROLLER, you get the following Link- <www.truveo.com/Fendt-936-Black-edition-manni15021990/id/25809641330> I can't read the German description, though. There's several others as well- one in Italian which I also can't read.... Cheers- J Deryke
