Rather than a full laydown radiator application, you can move the top of the
radiator forward about 2 inches and then the Flexalite fans and shroud will
attach and fit just fine to the back of the radiator. To lay the radiator
forward, use two 1 x 2+ inch strips of aluminum that attach to the top radiator
mounting points on the car and the radiator. There are three benefits to
this: you can do it yourself, shrouded sucker fans are more effective, and it
keeps the radiator angle more perpendicular to the incoming air for better flow.
Don't forget to install the stock side baffles on each side of the radiator
and the stock top cover to direct the air through the radiator. Lastly, make
sure the water hoses and pipes do not lay against the fan shrouds. Too much
heat can cause the fan motor to overheat and shut down.

There are ways to attach the Flexalite fan shroud to the radiator without
zip ties but they are a little more involved. One approach involves making
brackets that slips under the lip of the radiator housing. The second is to drill
holes in the lip and use those to attach the shroud.
