[DeTomaso] Possible Hood Vents

Thanks for pointing us to your results again.  They certainly seem to 
contrast with other opinions.  Seems as though this deserves another look.

The lifting  tufts that Mike describes seem to be compelling to me that air 
is exiting. Does anyone else have any thoughts as to how one may confirm 
this flow?

I am biased as a die hard hibachi grill lover.  They are so aesthetically 
pleasing to me that I'd punch the holes again even if they were 
counterproductive.  When I restored my car, they were one of the first parts 
I acquired.

I guess some men go for the big stainless grills in the backyard to impress 
their neighbors, I just need a set of Hibachis in my hood.  Thinking about 
this a little more, I suppose I could make a little rack above them and 
skewer a couple of hot dogs.  If they cook, it would prove the hot air is 
exiting.  30mph for rare, 50 mph for medium and 70 mph for well done.

Maybe I am on to something here.
