[DeTomaso] Fw:  Rear Wheel house rust repair advice needed ..

I wrote an article, with an illustration of where the frame drain holes 
should be drilled, in the Feb 02 POCA News- including holes in the bottoms of 
those four horse-shoe 'legs'. These drains will prevent a lot of this rust 
from starting by eliminating standing water, especially if after drilling, you 
cork up the holes and fill the rails with drain oil. After a few minutes, 
pull ONE cork on each side & let it drip dry. A cheap rust preventative 
suggestion from the '70s that's still valid.
Will Kooiman wrote quite a nice article about repairing rust found in the 
rear wheelwells, in the Aug 07 POCA Newsletter.   FWIW- J Deryke
