[DeTomaso] Exhaust port tongues

Sorry, I am blind. I was thinking of the intake port. There was ”insert
toungs” for these to.
Epoxi is no alternative for exhaust. For the exhaust I usually cut out
the entire last part
of the port. Then new headers to suit must be fabricated. I think it’s a
good idea to
refabrikate the headers even if port plate is used, but a little larger
header entry than
that of the port is good. All around the port.

Goran,
I don't think epoxie will work on the exhaust ports as it gets too hot.

The 2V manifold uses the bottom part of the runner so its no
alternative. Filling the bottom of a 4V manifold with epoxie
is the trick.

How does one make the intake manifold and header match the new reduced
ports? By porting a 2V intake manifold? With an unaltered 4V intake
manifold there will be a terrible "bump" against the port plate.
