The information you site about the history of the auto industry in America is not complete. You do not, in my opinion, offer any information that sheds light on the true situation.
The real story?  Close minded people are very pleased with themselves and only accept historical information that justifies their personal ends, for whatever reason.
A big clue to this position is for intelligence to give way and emotion to take over, which leads to unwarranted personal attacks of others.
We see this everyday in the national press.
