Correction, the water outlets at the front of the head are 3/4" NPT running
1" ID hoses to the remote T-Stat housing.

Larry,

This looks like an updated version of the Ford SVO block that I'm running
in my car which is much stronger than our old 351C blocks, bolts up to our
motor mounts and ZFs and uses a 351C type crank. It also likely uses the
Windsor type oiling system so no oil restrictors are required. The oil
pressure port is at the front left of the block so you loose the ugly oil
pressure sender at the rear of the block.

It does require extra work and mods to work though such as:

1) Windsor type cast aluminum timing cover.
2) Windsor water pump with different pulley mount locations (but I believe
some of the Pantera vendors have conversion kits or you could copy the home
grown solution I used before such kits were available).
3) For the 9.2" deck height version running 351C type heads you'll need to
heliarc front & rear extensions on your aluminum intake to cover the Windsor
shaped front & rear valley rails (an easy mod for any welding shop).
4) 1" NPT water exits out of the front intake side face of each head running
to a remote thermostat housing.

What interests me with this block is the option for either a 9.2 or
9.5 deck height.

9.2 means engine covers can still fit - with correct intake and carb.

It is iron, though.

But it is all new, and that 460 C.I. small block potential is awesome.
