I dont think Tq will be something of a problem since there are no
twisting forces around the crankschaft that enters the monocoque, like a
front mounted engine. As fare as the rear axle Tq is concerned the rear
tire will act as a Tq limiter. Or if the grip is there we should have a
wheelie on our hands. With big Dr tires I fear from some kind of rear
suspension failure.

I read the Schubeck site, and they spoke about the advantage over the
Hemi.
Well, I don’t think all of it is relevant. For example, the pent roof
that permit less piston dome is of no advantage for a fueller since we
do not use domes and need a 170 cc chamber in order to load it with
fuel. We do even need dual plugs to ensure fireing, which is not
possible using pentroof 4 valve heads. The hemishape is strong and
probably a better burningshape for these sort of engines. Neither have I
heard that there is a problem forcing fuel in to the combustion chamber
by the roots, (but I am not sure here).

Things get rather different for a gasiline burning street motor. But
even so, engine size is the main factor and a few % Ve dosent really
matter for
these sort of engines in a Pantera. The smaller of the Schubeck motors
did show good Ve number but the top 2 valve prostock motors are a lot
better.
But that is more due to very optimized (narrow rpm) induction systems.

That's the one, Thomas! Seriously, I'm not sure this beast would
physically
fit in a Pantera, and if it did, whether we could make the subframe and
monococque stiif enough to withstand a launch without popping the
windshielsd
and back window out! In person and shut off, the engine is almost
menacing
in its capabilities. Thanks- J Deryke
