Although believeable given how bone-stupid most politicians are on subjects 
not covered in their lawyer-school, it reminds me of a similar story during 
the Cold War era about a Senator that wanted to classify the Periodic table 
as 'secret' for having vital nuclear information. And who was horrified 
that a Russian, Mendeleev, was "somehow involved". He missed the part about it 
having been created in the 1800s and being on display in every grade school 
classroom in the civilized world....
Unfortunately when one calls up Snopes.com today, no info displays. That's  
 also probably a plot.... FWIW- J Deryke
