The problem as I see it is that this unit prevents hot wire starts. If you
are trying to prevent the theft of a collector car you have to realize that
there is a strong probability that the thief won't be driving it away. They
will flatbed it  or worse use an enclosed trailer. In these events this type
of device is useless.  Some of the best devices on the market don't even
wait for you to report the car missing. They use a combination gps and cell
phone and contact you if your car has been moved from where ever it is
supposed to be. Using the cell phone and gps you can track the vehicle to
its current position even if it it's moving. Wired into the vehicles
electrical system it will always have a charged battery to call out or
accept you inquiry location request..
