[DeTomaso] Busted Big, but Reno anyway? - cams and oil with ZDDP - LONG

In my opinion, any oil that can meet an API designation of SM is not
suitable for flat tappet or racing use, BUT I'm not an expert.

I have been reading

http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=11

and it seems even some testing labs results are inconclusive but I'm
thinking I'm going to send some some samples in myself for testing. Sounds
like Polaris labs is a good one and there's one in Canada that they say is
good too.
Maybe I should have just added my own ZDDP and been done with it.

The 20l container of Mobil 1 5W-50 I have in the garage says "API
SJ/SL/SM/CF". What does that imply?
