[DeTomaso] Italian Pronunciation

I hope this gets it right because when it is mis-pronounced it hurts my  
ears:
In the Italian language, the sound of the vowels is as follows with never a 
 deviation:
"a"  is sounded as      "ah"
"e"   is                        "ay"
"i"   is                        "ee"
"o"   is                        "oh"
"u"   is                        "as  in tomb "
 
so  "DayToeMahSo"  with the accent on the first syllable.
 
Please say it correctly, my ears can take no more!!!
