You don't have a reverse problem.   You have a clutch problem.

You just have to adjust the slave cylinder to give you proper clutch 
action.   What's likely happening is that a too-great percentage of your slave 
cylinder motion is being used to move the clutch fork through free space, as 
opposed to actually actuating the clutch.

Alternately, you could have air in the line, which is compressing when you 
depress the pedal.   The net effect is the same.

Attend to your clutch hydraulics and you'll be fine. :>)
