Hi guys,

Most proper track cars are equipped with tow hooks at the front and rear.
While undoubtedly it sucks when you misjudge a corner and fling your
Pantera into the gravel, it's even worse when the tow truck can't easily retrieve
it.

While in Modena, I spotted an absolutely brilliant solution implemented by
an Austrian owner of a very heavily modified Pantera, equipped with a
monster engine, Gr4 flares, full six-point roll cage, etc. etc.

Check it out:

I was determined to find one of these suckers for myself. I thought it
might be a challenge; imagine my surprise when I found it at the first place I
looked:

It's available from the manufacturer for $32, or from all the normal racing
retailers:

By comparison, the stock transaxle mounting bolt is M12x1.75x100mm; the
stud on this tow hook is M12 x 1.75 x 105mm.

How perfect is that? :>)
