Scott,
? If memory serves me correctly the optimal ratio is 14.7 to 1.? If he can be reached, I would run this question by Dan Jones.? He has far more experience with the Ford Cleveland than anyone else I know.
Sincerely, Ron

Subject: [DeTomaso] Optimal Air Fuel Ratio Question
I'm starting to set up the Holley 750 DP mechanical secondaries on my mild 351
Cleveland.
I have the Innovate meter with a wide band O2 sensor in the header collector.
I know I'm fat at partial throttle (high 10s to low 11s), and lean a WOT (14 to
15)
I saw a Super Snake dyno sheet recently that showed a flat A/F of 11 from
about 2500 to 7000 rpm.
That surprised me.
I think I S/B a little leaner at partial throttle and richer at WOT
I know you can run rich all day and lean only once.
Anyone have an opinion as to what A/F I should shoot for under different
conditions?
