Be aware that -A- the turn signal stalk is a hollow steel tube, and -B-
it's anchored- more or less- to a piece of brittle nylon which usually breaks
just from actuating the switch. There are no spare parts as you've found
out. Take it completely out of the turn signal switch body before trying to
bend it unless you feel real lucky today. The horn wire penetrates one side of
the hollow stalk and is soldered onto the other side.
The suggestion that a 'Capri switch' might work is correct. But in 1971,
there were two almost completely different cars called "Capri". One was made
in England and its turn signal will not fit. The other was made in Germany
and its assembly will interchange with a Pantera. German-made Capris are not
common in the U.S. Good luck- J Deryke
