 I mean the torque steer effect-- the car changing direction slightly with throttle application

Its due to one differential trying to rotate 2 different tire diameters at the same speed. A smaller tire (and its axle, halfshaft and output gear) must rotate faster to achieve the same road speed as that of a larger diameter tire, so the LSD slips to compensate. Those LSD clutches are only about 2-1/2" dia, there's only 3 per side, and they have no external springs like a posi. It doesn't take long before they're just worn steel discs instead of LDS clutches. Replacing them is less fun than you'd think.... Cheers- J Deryke
