Oh, that makes it easy to sort out.   You have mismatched tires on the rear 
of the car??????

You can't buy *one* new rear tire.   Or else you wind up suffering symptoms 
like, well....like you're suffering now!   Even if was the same 
brand/size/model of tire, it's likely that you would have had problems unless the 'old' 
tire was almost new.   But given that you've got a totally different 
brand/model (hopefully not size???) tire, well....duh. :>)

The good news is, you should easily be able to buy a second tire to match 
the one you fitted on the way to Reno and have no problems, since that tire 
*probably* won't have worn enough to make a difference.
