Asa Jay,

Are the pipes mandrel bent? Would it be possible for you to post some pics
since Hall's site doesn't seem to have any pics.

Doug

Subject: [DeTomaso] Hall Stainless Tube Set

Just thought I should say a few words about the stainless tube set I
purchased from Hall with the discount certificate.

Wow! This is a very nice tube set. It contains -all- the tubes for the
cooling system. The under car tubes come in four pieces not three, so
you can change them with the engine in the car. Also included was a
nice 90 degree elbow for under the car, passenger side, rear.
Previously this connection was made with an elbow hose, now I can use
two smaller straight Gates Green Stripe pieces.

The lower tube that connects to the swirl tank does not have the frame
bracket mounted to it, but that's okay. I can always have one welded
on. Everything looks great and matches original sizes and shapes very
nicely.

I won't be using all the pieces as I'm trying to re-plumb the cooling
system ala Mike Trusy/John Taphorn. However, now I have spares, and
extra tubing if I need it. This gave me confidence to actually hack up
my existing tubes to help re-route coolant, knowing I can always go back
to a good set of new stainless if I need to. :)

So anyone needing a new set of tubes for their cooling system, I'd
recommend this kit from Hall, as I was given the opportunity to buy one
and it looks great. I'm sure the other vendors have comparable pieces,
so if nothing else, change your cruddy old tubes for some new ones...
call your favorite vendor and see what they can do for you.

Best Regards,
Asa Jay
