In the Feb 2003 POCA News, Ted Mitchell described the rotisserie he built
for the restoration of a pushbutton Pantera. And while Ted was not interested
in building a plug and play setup for sale, he included dimensions so
anyone could build their own. Whether any of the people that asked about
availability of his assembly actually did so, is unknown. Ted is at <www.tmich.com>
for questions. Essentially, its two larger sized home made engine stands
with extended forks that bolt to the Pantera body. An L model will have
different mounting points than a pushbutton.
A second commercial design is made of two giant half-circles of heavy wall
steel pipe that attach to the front & rear chassis mounts. Then the body can
be rolled onto its side bearing on the pipe circles; these are commercially
available but undoubtably would need to be modified to bolt onto a DeTomaso
chassis. Good luck to Eric- J Deryke
