I asked the question because I didn't recognize it as a ZF. I must say I
sill don't.
I'll have to read up on the Hewland. Never seen one up close.

Hi Paul; It's a ZF same as the pantera mounted the right side up. 4.22
ring/pinion 1-2-3-is shorter then the pantera. Don't let this car fool you
it was built as a proper race car that was fitted too a street car. I have
done a lot of work on the M1.

Can't really see it well in that last picture, but it looks like Hewland 
(not a ZF) to me.
