The "ultimate" brake system as installed by Dennis Quella is a big improvement. I have had no problems with it. It is the best brakes I have had on the car. The brakes are fade free and work well at the track. BUT, I am of the opinion that their "feel" is not as completely reassuring as I would like. I would not take them off and go to anything else, though. So, good brake system, but expensive.

Thanks Chuck.

I have a GT5 with the fat factory brakes, so I believe I'm fine in that
area.

My problem is that the front wheels lock up without much happening on
the rear.

I have measured the piston sizes and the front piston area is double
that of the rears, yet the master cylinder pistons are the same front
and aft. I do have the factory prop valve, which is plumbed into the
front circuit, but it requires substantial pressure before it begins to
reduce the pressure, and I would like the front-aft pressures to be
proper even under light braking.

One problem with the CNC setup is that the master cylinders appear to be
all metal. In europe you have to be able to visually inspect the fluid
level without having to open a cap, so I'd prefer masters with plastic
reservoirs.

I have been contemplating modifying something like this:

to make it fit the stock booster.

Or perhaps get one of these:
