I have an Alpine with a CD and a removable face . It has a plug that allows
me to plug it in to my Alpine 6 disc cd changer. I had this whole system in
my 911. It has the alpine head which has a CD, removable face, plugs in to
the CD changer and an Alpine multi band EQ /Pre amp and two Alpine power
amps and a Boston acoustic crossover. My Pantera had an Alpine single disc
CD with an AM/FM that had the same plug connection to the DC and the
speakers so it was a simple decision to plug in my old Alpine into the Dash.
I have not had any problems with the CD's playing in the vertical position.
I have had a problem with a damaged cd that didn't want to reject and eject
properly. This was a CD that had noticeable problems.Boyd
