[DeTomaso] Booster talk

The link to the ebay listing didn't go through. It said the item had been
removed. From what I understand the need for a booster may be predicated on
your available vacuum. Some cars have systems that interfere with or limit
available vacuum and that creates a problem when braking. I don't know
enough about it but there have been several posts dealing with the subject.
When there is not sufficient vacuum available it takes allot more physical
pressure on the brake pedal to achieve the same braking force and I believe
it also effects brake pedal height. See if you can find the "missing link"
or another link to the actual manufacturer of the item you are referencing
and I'm sure you will get a straight answer.
