Gudmund, what carb do you have? It certainly sounds like a carb/fuel issue, 
possibly from the accelerator pump, which runs against a plastic cam that 
is changeable for tuning. Or if you have a vacuum-activated secondary 
throttle, the diaphragm spring can be changed, maybe to one of lighter strength. 
Holley sells a tuning kit of a dozen springs all of slightly different 
strengths, quite cheaply. Holley also sells a special top for the secondary 
throttle diaphragm that's quickly removeable for such spring changing. The stock 
top inconveniently requires you to remove the entire vacuum chamber to access
