Well. it appears sourcing another, even better blower motor is the easy
part.
I really want to get this fixed as I actually did have functioning AC. I
guess I still do, but I can't get it out of the dash.

It looks like I'm going to have to get the dash out. Jack's in situ method
looks like a real pita and I think I'd have to remove a hose and waste my
charge of R-12 to boot.
Anyone care to share the details of the removal of a late L dash?
