Hello Garth. These are sink drain strainers. Available at Orchard Supply @  $ 1.75 - $2.50ea. I bought mine at a swap meet "Good Guys." for $1.00ea. These are large 2" diameter, there are smaller ones available. They can also be attached bubble up by drilling a small retaining hole in the velocity stack and then safety wire looped through to attach. I'm still learning different ways to keep in place.    Mine are attached with self stick door guards bought a PeP Boys. I used a heat gun to bend them around the stack and then a
 small amount of hot glue.

<<< And finally, if you're in a DIY mood, you can use an old-fashioned tea strainer (or tea infuser), cut it apart and make them yourself! Something like this:

That's almost exactly what PCNC member Ron DeMaderios did for his fuel injected
Pantera. I think he used a slightly larger strainer than a tea strainer, then inverted them so
they don't stick up out of the velocity stacks.

Ron - Can you reply witth some pics of your velocity stacks and the filter screens, along with what you used to make them?

Cheers!
Garth
