[DeTomaso] No parts inventory today....

Hi guys,

Well, this afternoon was set aside for wading through my giant parts stash 
and taking inventory.   When I got home from work, I found a message on my 
answering machine.

Another pilot in my squadron hired a live-in Brazilian au pair to help care 
for his two kids, since his ex-wife is basically out of the picture, and 
he's gone much of the time.   The 20-something girl that arrived to handle the 
job is basically of supermodel caliber, and it didn't take all that long 
before her status changed to 'girlfriend/au pair'.

As it turns out, there is a fairly large network of young Brazilian au 
pairs working in the area, of which a substantial percentage are apparently of 
similar supermodel caliber.   They are having a BBQ/pool party at his this 
afternoon.

So rather than wading through dusty boxes of old Pantera parts, I'm going 
to have to spend the rest of the afternoon sitting by a swimming pool, 
enjoying home-cooked Brazilian cuisine served by young bikini-clad 
supermodel-types.

Yes, life can be difficult to endure sometimes, but we force ourselves to 
go on in the face of it...

Tomorrow is the tech session here, but Monday I'll make an honest attempt 
at cataloguing my Pantera parts.   I'm leaving Monday afternoon to head to 
Chicago to hook up with Mike Trusty/Kirby Schrader/Darryl Adams for the big 
GT40 reunion at Elkhart Lake, and if I don't have my inventory done before I 
leave, I'll certainly get it done when I get home, as I'm taking the rest of 
the month off of work to dedicate to working on Profiles, the PCNC 
newsletter, tech articles for the POCA newsletter, various derelict cars, etc. etc. 
etc.
