I wish you the best of luck Chris. I cannot wait for this movie to end.

Regards,

Funny you should ask. I got the same inquiry from Mike, our PNW President just a few minutes ago, and at that same moment I also got an interesting phone call romthe mechanic.

Here's the note I just sent to some of my fellow PNW members:

I just got a call from the mechanic. He said he's "done" with my car. But "done" doesn't mean finished back to the way it should be. It means he isn't going to work on it anymore and wants me to come and get it.

He said he ran it for a couple of hours and he says he's confident I can drive it home. However:

1) he couldn't get the rear deck to line up and he has chipped the paint.

2) he couldn't get the rear deck shocks to mount correctly, so they are laying in a box with a bunch of other parts.

3) the rear deck lock is still messed up and not even mounted to the rear deck. For the trip home the rear deck will be held down with a bungee cord.

And who knows how many other things are screwed up.

I told him I'd come and get it tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

Is there anyone who might be available to help me go get it and be a witness to this mess? (and who has a good camera) I'll be on the road for the next couple of hours, then in a meeting from 3:30 to 4:30, then available again on my cell: 253-232-2321. If the cell battery dies, call my home at 253-566-5903. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I know it's a sacrifice on a weeknight.

I see a lawyer in my future.

Sincerely,

Chris
