Will,
Can you send me a pic of the air filters causing you such HP loss?
I'm running individual filters on a 55 Jag D-type, and I've run
both with and without filters as a test, and don't remember any (big?)
difference. (Photo attached - stripped to the list)
I was adjusting the timing by "seat-of-the-pants" at the same time, so maybe
I missed something????

The Pantera vendors sell beautiful K&N filter setups that work with the fuel injection
systems also. Two oval K&N filters in billet aluminum housings. Most Panteras with
Webers have them. They're made by this guy.

Surely you've seen them? For sure they will dramatically outflow those dinky individual
filters that people are running on GT40s etc. these days. It's quite common for those
things to cost 50+ hp apparently.
