[DeTomaso] Update on overheating issues

hello all,
many of you took the time to chime in and offer advice on the overheating
issue i had been dealing with since the big bend open road race.
here's where i am right now...
first, what i thought was a trickle of coolant boiling off the heads appears
to have been fluid that splashed onto the intake while filling the rad tank.
there does not appear to be any further sign of leaks.
also, i have added coolant to the rad tank several times since i posted the
concerns. apparently i lost more fluid in texas than i knew and it was never
filled back up. i believe an air pocket developed somewhere that prevented
the flow of water out of the block to the radiator up front. after adding
fluid several times, i now have hot pipes up front.
while working on this issue, i discovered 1 of the 2 sucker fans was not
coming on. investigation revealed some bad wiring connections that when
cleaned up, has solved that problem.
so right now, i have re-installed the thermostat, have hot water up front to
the radiator, have both fans coming on, and haven't ruined the car.
i am bringing the car to a wiring wiz ( i call him "Rain Man") to run new
wiring to the fans to put that issue to bed.
i have driven the car around the area the last few days, taking longer
routes each time to see if any overheating problems show up but so far, so
good.
thanks again to all of you that chimed in when i needed you.
