A friend is looking for a tool that one threads into a spark plug hole, and
is intended to
(gently) contact

the piston face, in order determine TDC (Top Dead Center) of the piston
stroke.

 

I'm not sure what to suggest when "googling".

 

Suggestions?  Links?  Harbor Freight?
