FWIW I paid $1000 for a stock wiring harness from Junior Wilson's race car 
back in the early 1990s.   Turned out to be a bit of a bummer because the 
harness wasn't in such great shape.   Then a few years later, Charlie Puckett 
kindly gave me the very nice harness out of his '74 race car for nothing.

It took the better part of two days to remove the old harness and install 
the new one.   NOT fun.   But the new harness has worked perfectly ever 
since.   And as a bonus, it perfectly matches the factory wiring diagram. :>)
