[DeTomaso] Hmmmmm-just curious-do any Panteras exist with a100K+ miles on them?

I don't know why owners didn't just disconnect their speedometer cable when
they got the car (aside from that being... wrong) with the early dual dash
pod cars.  You can't see the MPH anyway until you get past 80, and above
that you shouldn't be looking to check it anyway.  Gage your speed by the
level of passenger fright, and you should be okay.  Change your oil and lube
your chassis every season.  All the pre-L Panteras should register about 6
miles with that kind of thinking.
