The most popular upgrade are 17s. Lots of selection. Proper offsets.  8 in front with 245-40-17 11 in back with 335-35-17.  Although many like 315-35 and they are lots cheaper. Michael in Savannah

I am considering buying larger diameter wheels to use for street driving. I
am going to save my stock Campys. What size wheels and matching tires can I
use with a 73 L? I want to be sure to avoid too large or wide tires that
might rub or cause any negative handling characteristics . I like the look
of cars I have seen with bigger wheels and low profile tires.
Any opinions would be welcome .
