[DeTomaso] heater hose

Anyone have any suggestions for the small molded heater hoses that run from the heater core to the metal pipes up under the front console?  It looks like one of them has different diameters at either end.  Since I probably will never use the heater, I am considering just leaving them out as I reassemble my car (since the engine build has drained my accounts)  Justin
