...but only if your car is completely stock--and how many Panteras are stock?
In my case, because I have five-point harnesses in my car, and a fire
system (both of which should REDUCE their exposure to loss), they consider my car
'modified' and they TRIPLE the cost of my insurance.

Similarly, if you have improved the engine, or fitted aftermarket brakes, or
any of a host of other things that we routinely do, Haggarty requires you to
inform them of this fact, and then they triple your rates. If you lie to them
and tell them that your Pantera is a stock (classic) car when in fact it's a
modified (hot rod/open track) car, then in the event of a claim, they can DENY
your claim and leave you completely uncovered.

That's why I have Heacock (formerly Parish), which is the 'pet' insurance
company of SAAC (the Shelby club). Rates are competitive with the Hagerty
'stock' rates, and I have had several claims, of varying sizes, all handled
beautifully and with no adverse affect on my rates.

Mike
