[DeTomaso] Pantera camping...

Hi Doug,

The Airstream in the picture is actually my brother's, and he just sold it a couple months ago because he bought another one (who needs two Airstreams, right).

The pictured trailer is a 1964 Airstream Safari Double (front and side gaucho model), 22ft, 3100# dry weight, single axle.

Here's another image of it while camping at the Monterey Historics:

Two in the driveway:

His current trailer is a 1967 Airstream Globetrotter (front dinette and side gaucho).  It is 20ft total length with a 3100# dry weight as well.  Like the Safari, the Globetrotter is also a single axle.  The most unique feature of this trailer is that it has the Corning curved glass frameless windows... looks way cool.

I cc'd my brother too, so feel free to ask additional questions.

Cheers!
Garth

Garth, is that your Airstream? If so, what year and model is it. I'm a bit
of an Airstream nut myself.

Doug
