Don't forget the 'round-the-campfire' sing-along. Send me some of that aerospace high tech radar avoiding coating.

VERY GROOVY!!! Is the car already black? Lemme know, I have gallons of that crap, I mean high-tech aero coating. We can add
or own events too. Cook out & assault rifle shoot, (that's one event) Tamale & burrito eating contest, etc.

The Big Bend Open Road Event is taking place on April 25th with activities starting on the 22nd. The Sand Hill event might be the toughestrace, (I prefer "Open Road", not "Off Road" events) :) but the Big Bend event is on the best road and is the best organized and run event of them all. The course is 118 miles long run in 2 59 mile legs. The surface is great and the scenery is beautiful if you get time to look at it. The are somelong straights but it's mostly made up of sweeping turns through hill. There are over 100 turns on the course, so you know it's not all cruise controlwork. A Pantera can run 100mph through the whole course if you're careful. 120mph and up and you have to pay attention or you could "git bit".We've lost several ORR events this year and the vets who used to run them all say BBORR was and is now without a doubt the star race. I'mworking on the TEXAS boys to get their butts in gear and BE THERE. We need at least 5 cars to make a vintage team.
I make up all the timingmaterial, mark the course, tell you how to use it, and what ever else I can do to help. WE CLEAN UP AT THE AWARDS. The Panteras steal theshow during the whole event. The cars and owners have quite a rep out there, and everyone (some grudgingly) admits they are glad to see them.Don't miss this. Get reservations now just in case. Let me know if you need anything. You car must be flat black. :)MichaelGruppo Rompiculi Corsa Y'allcheck www.bborr.com for details, rules, pics.BE THERE DAMMIT!> Yo My Peeps & Newbies,> As bad as the economy is or has been for many in of our group in the last year I am happy to see we are still going to have De Tomaso Pantera's and their owners registered at ALL 3 of the open road races during 2009 in Texas, Nevada and Nebraska. > > My dream of a sea filled with Pantera's chasing and passing Vipers, Vettes, Porsche's and Ferrari's durin 2009 is going to come true!. There is not a tougher open road race anywhere then the Sand Hills in Nebraska. > > I expect Jason 'the Kid" Eaton and his cousin "Hollywood" Nick, John 'JB' Bentley, Scott "I'll-be-back" Coachman, Crazy Dan Courtney in his race Pantera, Darryl "SEAL" Johnson in his highly modified big block powered Pantera and Mad Dawg running again in a stock OEM Pantera, all of California should all be coming back to the NORC in Ely Nevada in May. > > And from Arizona long time orr veteran Rich "Marine" Hoppe
should also be bringing a new race prepared Pantera back as well....I know there are others like Larry "Rockhouse" Stock, Msgt AJ Laughton from Washington State or Chris Difani from California and maybe one of the Vikings out of Norway or Sweden may be also thinking about or planning to go as well so let Michael, Rowdy or myself know if you think you can make it happen or need any help getting there. You still have months to get ready.> > Don't forget to get hotel/motel reservations in early...you can always cancel.
