[DeTomaso] Texas, Nevada & Nebraska Open Road Races

Yo My Peeps & Newbies,

As bad as the economy is or has been for many in  of our group in the last year I am happy to see we are still going to have De Tomaso Pantera's and their owners registered at ALL 3 of the open road races during 2009 in Texas, Nevada and Nebraska. 

My dream of a sea filled with Pantera's chasing and passing Vipers, Vettes, Porsche's and Ferrari's durin 2009 is going to come true!. ';-]>

First you have "Michael "Huey" Frazier"  from San Antonio Texas, who  is leading the effort at Big Bend in Texas in April and is rounding up a crew now.....Should be a kick ass event again...remember its the first ORR of the year!

 Bob "Rowdy" Radefield out of Topeka Kansas is leading the effort for the Nebraska Sand Hills, with Dave 'the Pope' Adin, Tom "Tommy Gun" Di Iulio, both out of Colorado and  Frank "Godfather" Cirrincione out of Hendersonville Tennessee rounding out what I call the The Children of the Korn Tour. There is not a tougher open road race anywhere then the Sand Hills in Nebraska.  

I expect Jason 'the Kid" Eaton and his cousin "Hollywood" Nick, John 'JB' Bentley, Scott "I'll-be-back" Coachman, Crazy Dan Courtney in his race Pantera, Darryl "SEAL" Johnson in his highly modified big block powered Pantera and Mad Dawg running again in a stock OEM Pantera, all of California should all be coming back to the NORC in Ely Nevada in May. 

And from Arizona long time orr veteran Rich "Marine" Hoppe should also be bringing a new race prepared  Pantera back as well....I know there are others like Larry "Rockhouse" Stock, Msgt AJ Laughton from Washington State or  Chris Difani from California and maybe one of the Vikings out of Norway or Sweden may be also  thinking about or planning to go as well so let Michael, Rowdy or myself know if you think you can make it happen or need any help getting there. You still have months to get ready.

Don't forget to get hotel/motel reservations in early...you can always cancel. We can always find you a room to stay at but you don't want to end up where JB and Chuck Brown stayed a couple years ago....bed bugs were bad.;-]>
