[DeTomaso] Fw: Gentlemen, Start Your Engines

Here is a good one. In the heavy traffic out of Stockholm for the
midsummer holliday, I was stuck on the motorway in a traffic
line that didnt moved. With 6 miles to the next turn around place.
32 degreee C as a cream on the cake. Sitting in my PANTERA.
That is what I call "midsummer holliday".
However, I parked the car to the right, outside the road marker,
which is not allowed. A police car was driving the other direction
and observed me and stopped by the other side of the road.
Walked over and asked me what it was all about. Well, to hot
for the car standing still, I am waiting for me to come up with an
idea how to be able to get back to town. Well, this is a motorway,
but could you open the hood??? After 5 minutes of whatch the
cops claimed to understand the situation. They unlocked a
between the otheer side road chain for the wintertime snow
throwers, stopped the other side traffic making it possible for
me to make an U-turn. Thats really something!
Not taking any bad stories today...
Goran
