[DeTomaso] The Great Sway Bar Debate of 2009

Brent,

Well, just don't forget that the entire suspension all fits together
and works as a whole.
Just adding bigger sway bars _may_ make things worse instead of better.
As you allude to, your 'Group 1' bunch has done 'other things' to
their car suspension.

I fit in that group since I have the chassis brace kit (I highly
recommend this for everyone, whether you track the car or not), the
stronger springs all around _and_ the 1" sway bars. It works for me.

>From the description of what you want to do, I think you've made the
right choice with the 7/8" bar for now. You can always experiment
later, if desired, and go for the stronger bar.

BTW, there are others that run no front sway bar and it works for them.

Later,
Kirby
