Every year around the same time Italiacars starts posting emails about Le Belle Macchine d'Italia. They post about how their event is the largest Italian motoring event in the northeast and it is. There is no question its the largest all Italian car event.  They have special guests from Italy, etc, etc, etc. 

 

Then in their round about way the attempt to put down any other event of the same size that place in the northeast. Like saying "This event is by owners, for owners and not for the benefit of a few self anointed individuals." What the hell are you talking about..! If you try to compare Le Belle Macchine d'Italia to Pocono-CSD (a same size event) you're wrong. CSD is put on by the supporting clubs for the club members. So in other words after all the bills are paid anything left over gets splitup to the supporting clubs. Then the supporting clubs can put on other events for their members. So after the bills are paid for Le Belle Macchine d'Italia do you send a check back to each owner? You state "This event is by owners, for owners". or are there "self anointed individuals" who gets this money?

So please try promoting your event with out taking cheap shots at other events. Hope you have a successful and safe event in 2009.
