Pilot bearing removal: start threading a 3/4 inch tap into the  0.697 pilot 
bearing hole, keep turning when the tap bottoms against the  crankshaft, 
bearing out
 
OEM '74L (-2 ZF) pilot bearing measured:1.377 OD 0.580 Deep w/  0.679 
(17.2466 mm) Hole thru to fit 0.669 (16.9926mm) transmission input shaft
